Kennedy's First Visit to the Midwest

We visited the midwest a couple of weeks ago. The pictures are in the mail, but here are a few from our tour of Illinois.

Kennedy started his visit by meeting the Jones Family in Chicago. It was a late night, but Kennedy loved all the excitement.

The next day we drove to Champaigne, IL to visit Aunt Dale and Great Grandma Dorothy Ruth Jones, and to check out the Univeristy of Illinois campus.

We then drove to Decatur, IL and then to Carbondale, IL with Great Grandma Goldie and Grandpa Joe Kennedy, and Grandpa and Grandma Jones on their way to the Kennedy/Kendall Family reunion in Tennessee.

Great Grandpa told Kennedy to bring his fishing pole next summer.
A very happy family reunion.

It was then back to Chicago again . . .
Kennedy spent some time at the pool. That's Soldier Field in the background, home of the Chicago Bears.
"Hey P.J.," Kennedy tickled Phyllis's cheeky.
Our Little Hawkeye enjoyed his trip to Illinois.

  • I'm sure Daddy can't wait to take Kennedy to his Alma Mater, maybe on the next trip . . . Go Blue!
