A Very Busy Weekend
Last Thursday, we celebrated Kennedy's half-birthday. It's hard to believe he is already 18 months old.
At his recent well-baby check up he weighed 27lbs 10oz (70 percentile) and was 34.25 inches tall (95 percentile). He is growing so much, and talking more every day. I think is up to 20+ words now. I'm not sure which word he uses more "Elmo" (keep reading for more Elmo fun) or "ball". He loves both! And he's also been using the word "mine" a lot more lately too. Yesterday one of his friends from daycare was giving me a hug, and he came up to her and said "no, mine". I guess he doesn't like other kids playing with his toys, or hugging his Mommy.
We had a very eventful weekend to celebrate. Mommy took Kennedy to the zoo on Friday. He loves going there, and we thank Grandpa Will for the excellent gift of the zoo membership.

Saturday we headed down to a carnival at Paige's school, we forgot our camera, but you can take a look at one of the great prizes that Cole won on the 3kiddos blog.
The great end to the weekend was Sesame Steet Live: Elmo Makes Music!

The kids had so much fun, and it was great watching their reactions to the characters. Kennedy's favorites are Elmo (of course) and Ernie.

A ball with Elmo on it . . . He couldn't be happier.
