Kennedy's daycare class planned a field trip to Elkus Ranch in Half Moon Bay where the kids could pet the animals and learn about life on the farm. They fed the chickens ...

and some goats.

And watered the vegetable garden


It was a scorcher (highs in the 90s) so after seeing the donkeys, sheep, llama, pigs and rabbits, we headed home.

Kennedy will start at a new preschool in San Mateo this summer (and many of his friends will begin kindergarten in Fall) so it was a good thing our friends brought their camera and shared these photos of a day on the farm.
